Torryn Velgard - a reckless sailor-turned-smuggler - is determined to make his mark by becoming Sedarkia’s next ruler. The only obstacle is Owain - no one knows if he is planning to return with an army at his back. Torryn decides the only reasonable course of action is to track down Owain and ensure he will never come back to Sedarkian shores. Along the way, he also drags his unwilling older brother, Ivor, along with him.
