“A tale full of friendship, betrayal, kindness, and loyalty. Miss Witbeck has truly created a masterpiece of Christian literature that is woven with suspense, love, fear, and Christian values. An excellent addition to the bookshelf of any girl, from eight to eighty! The writing style is exquisite, with beautiful and descriptive language that transports you right into the scenes. The themes of friendship, betrayal, heartbreak, and spiritual growth are explored in depth throughout the novel, leaving the reader with much to ponder on long after finishing the book. Overall, I highly recommend "A Journey to Unshakable Faith" to anyone looking for a well-written and thought-provoking read.”

"Sydney Witbeck shines in her debut novel in which she portrays a faith in God that is based on a 'peace that passes all understanding.'"

"Overall, this was a solid book. I would have absolutely no qualms about handing this book off to one of my 10-18 year old nephews or nieces and letting them read it on their own. The message is simple enough a child can understand it but the story is entertaining enough to drive the point home and make it stick. Not only that, but it's a good, clean book with nothing troublesome between the pages. Absolutely A+ craftsmanship."

"Like a lot of fantasy novels I’ve read, A Journey to Unshakable Faith has a big cast of characters. All of them—from the good ones to the villains—added to the story. I enjoyed seeing Esther (one of the main characters) grow in both faith and courage."

"A Journey to Unshakable Faith is pure and good, even by Christian fiction standards. The main characters have a beautiful innocence about them, and even though this book contains scenes of war and imprisonment, author Sydney Witbeck makes sure to keep the content completely clean, even for young readers."

"I was so delighted with the amount of overt Christian content in this book. As the title suggests, the whole book is about Esther developing faith, through experiences of hardship. Most of the characters in the book are Christians, themselves, and there is are many instances of fellowship and encouragement throughout the pages. Tons of quoted Scripture, as well."
